A famous captain of the ironborn and Lord Reaper of Pyke at the time of Aegon's Conquest. After Harren the Black and his sons burned together in the towers of Harrenhal and House Hoare was extinguished, the captains and kings of the Iron Islands met in moot and chose Vickon to rule them. He bent the knee to Aegon Targaryen, who confirmed him as Lord Paramount, the first of the Greyjoys to be styled Lord of the Iron Islands rather than king. He died in 33 AC and was succeeded by his son Goren.
