Rickard Stark (The Laughing Wolf)

Son of King Jon Stark and a King of Winter in his own right, called the Laughing Wolf in the old songs. He broke the last of the Marsh Kings of the Neck in battle, then bound the conquered land to Winterfell by taking the Marsh King's daughter to wife. The crannogmen of the Neck became sworn men of the north under House Reed of Greywater Watch, and the kingdom of Winter from that day reached without a break from the Sunset Sea to the Bite.
