Rhaenys Targaryen

Elder child of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell of Dorne, born at Dragonstone in 280 AC in the last years of her grandfather's reign. A small dark girl after her mother's Rhoynish blood, she kept a black kitten she named Balerion for the dread dragon of old, and at three years old hid the creature, and herself, beneath the Iron Throne when the Lannister host broke into the Red Keep at the close of Robert's Rebellion. There Ser Amory Lorch found her, dragged her out from under her father's seat, and put his blade through her half a hundred times, that her body might be wrapped in a crimson Lannister cloak and laid before the new king beside the broken corpses of her mother and her brother Aegon.
