Portrait of Martyn Lannister

Martyn Lannister

Born
285 AC

Third son of Ser Kevan Lannister and Lady Dorna Swyft, twin to Willem and squire in the host Ser Stafford Lannister mustered in the westerlands. Taken with his brother at the Battle of Oxcross when Robb Stark fell upon the camp at dawn, and held thereafter at Riverrun, where Lord Rickard Karstark broke into the tower cell and butchered Willem and their cousin Tion Frey in their beds. Robb tripled the guard around Martyn for the guilt of it, then traded him at the Golden Tooth through Ser Rolph Spicer for Robett Glover, freed at Duskendale. In A Feast for Crows his aunt Genna proposed to Ser Jaime that the boy be wed to Amerei Frey to bind Castle Darry to the Lannisters after Lancel cast off his wife for the Faith Militant.
