Jeyne Marbrand

A daughter of House Marbrand of Ashemark, taken to Casterly Rock in 235 AC as wife to Lord Tytos Lannister, third son of Lord Gerold the Golden and at the time newly heir to the Rock after the deaths of his elder brothers. She bore Tytos five surviving children — Tywin, Kevan, Genna, Tygett, and Gerion — and was, by all that's said of her, the spine he wanted for. She kept her good-sister Ellyn Reyne from his bed when the widowed Lady would have seduced him after Tion's death, and saw the troublesome woman married off to Walderan Tarbeck; thereafter she steadied a husband whose bannermen had begun openly to mock him, until her own death — the year never recorded — left Tytos to cheese-cake, drink, and a string of mistresses whose mockery his sons returning from the Stepstones found at the very gates of their own home.
