Ermesande Hayford

The infant Lady of Hayford, the last of her line and so the bearer of the small lordship that lay astride the kingsroad north of King's Landing. After her grandfather and father were both carried off in the same year she came to court a swaddling babe, and Queen Cersei married her at the breast to her own cousin Tyrek Lannister so the Lannisters might claim her lands. The bridegroom was a boy of thirteen; the bride could not yet hold her head up at her wedding. Tyrek vanished into the bread riot of King's Landing not long after, and Ermesande was left a small widow of his vanishing, kept at the Red Keep as a ward of the crown.
