Ellaria Sand

Bastard daughter of Lord Harmen Uller of Hellholt, and for the last decade of his life Prince Oberyn's paramour and the mother of his four youngest Sand Snakes. She rode north with him to King's Landing in A Storm of Swords, watched him take a poisoned spear into the Mountain's eye and the Mountain's gauntlet into his own skull, and wept over what was left of him in the trial-pit. She came home to the Water Gardens with their daughters and has stood quietly between Prince Doran's caution and the elder Sand Snakes' rage ever since, the only voice in the household that does not want another war.
