Elder son of Lord Daemon and successor to him as Lord of Driftmark after Daemon fell at Gulltown. He took up his father's office as Master of Ships under King Aegon I and led the royal fleet against the pirate-lord Sargoso Saan in the Stepstones. He wed Lady Alarra of House Massey, by whom he had a daughter Alyssa who would in time wed Prince Aenys and become Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, and a son Daemon who would succeed him as lord admiral.
